About the Service
SMSBridge is a secure technical bridge designed to give you access to your text messages (SMS) anytime, anywhere. Through a lightweight Android app, incoming messages are captured and instantly relayed through our encrypted servers to your chosen destination on Telegram.
- Instant sync in under a second.
- Full support for verification codes (OTP) and bank messages.
- Smart, organized notifications on Telegram.
Privacy Policy
The privacy of your messages is our top priority, and we commit to the following standards:
- No permanent storage: we act only as a "bridge". Once a message arrives and is relayed to its destination, it's deleted from our servers immediately and is never stored in our databases.
- Data encryption: all messages are transmitted over encrypted HTTPS to prevent any interception of data.
- Full control: you can stop syncing or delete your linking code at any time from within the Android app.
Usage Policy & Legal Matters
By using the SMSBridge service, you agree to comply with the following terms:
- Using the service for any illegal activity or violation of others' privacy is prohibited.
- The app must only be installed on devices you personally own or have legal authorization to access.
- The service is intended for personal use and productivity, and we are not responsible for any misuse resulting from the user.
Disclaimer
At SetupBridge we do our best to ensure the service is stable and fast, however:
- We are not responsible for any delay in message delivery caused by network issues or internet outages on the user's end.
- We are not responsible for the loss of a "linking code" or unauthorized third-party access to your Telegram account.
- The service is provided "as is" without absolute guarantees, and we reserve the right to make updates or changes to the service to ensure its quality.
🔐 Essential App Permissions
⚠️ There are 4 permissions the app cannot work without. Make sure to grant all of them on first launch. Their names may differ from one device to another and from one Android version to another — what matters is reaching the correct function.
📩 1 — SMS Permission
❌ Without it: the app won't see any incoming message and won't be able to forward it.
Its names on different devices:
• Most devices: Messages or SMS
• Samsung: Send and view SMS messages
• Xiaomi: SMS
• Huawei: Messages
🔔 2 — Notifications Permission
❌ Without it: you won't receive message-forwarding alerts or free-limit warnings.
Its names on different devices:
• Most devices: Notifications
• Samsung: Show notifications
• Android 13 and newer: appears automatically on first launch
🔋 3 — Disable Battery Optimization Most important
❌ Without it: Android may automatically stop the app and lose messages without you knowing.
How to reach it depending on your device:
• Stock Android (Google Pixel): Settings → Apps → SMSBridge → Battery → Unrestricted
• Samsung (One UI): Settings → Apps → SMSBridge → Battery → Unrestricted
• Xiaomi (MIUI/HyperOS): Settings → Apps → SMSBridge → Battery saver → No restrictions
• Huawei (EMUI): Settings → Battery → App launch → enable SMSBridge manually
• OnePlus (OxygenOS): Settings → Battery → Battery optimization → SMSBridge → Don't optimize
• Oppo / Realme (ColorOS): Settings → App management → SMSBridge → Battery usage → No restrictions
⚙️ 4 — Background Activity
❌ Without it: messages may be delayed or lost when the screen is locked or after a period of inactivity.
Its names on different devices:
• Most devices: Allow background activity or Run in background
• Samsung: Allow background activity (within the app settings)
• Xiaomi: Background apps → enable SMSBridge
• Huawei: Run in background (within app launch)
