1. Services Covered
These terms cover the following two bots:
- @SetupBridgeBot — the archiving bot: archives messages and files from Telegram groups to the user's own Google Drive.
- @SetupGroupsBot — the group management bot: advanced group management tools such as welcoming, scheduling, and managing members and permissions. This bot is not linked to Google Drive and no archiving-related terms apply to it.
2. Acceptance of Terms
By using any of SetupBridge's services, you confirm your agreement to these terms. If you do not agree to any of them, please stop using the service.
3. General Terms of Use — Apply to Both Bots
- Use the service only for lawful, non-harmful purposes.
- Do not use the bot for any activity that violates Telegram's rules or local and international laws.
- Do not attempt to hack or misuse the service's infrastructure.
- Do not publish or distribute content protected by intellectual property rights without the owner's permission.
4. Terms Specific to @SetupBridgeBot — the Archiving Bot
- When connecting Google Drive, you grant the bot limited access to create and upload files only inside a
setupbridge/folder. - You are responsible for the content you choose to archive — SetupBridge bears no responsibility for the content of archived files.
- You may disconnect Drive at any time from within the bot or from your Google Account settings.
5. Terms Specific to @SetupGroupsBot — the Group Management Bot
- The bot is used solely for organizational management purposes of groups.
- The bot must have the necessary permissions within the group to perform its tasks.
- You are responsible for the settings and administrative decisions you enable through the bot.
- This bot does not include any archiving or connection to Google Drive or any external storage service.
6. Prohibited Content — For Both Bots
- ❌ Pornographic content or content related to minors.
- ❌ Hate speech and incitement to violence.
- ❌ Personal data of third parties without their consent.
- ❌ Malware or any fraudulent content.
7. Ownership Rights
All files and content remain the property of you and their original owners. SetupBridge does not claim any rights over the content the service handles.
8. Limitation of Liability
SetupBridge provides its services "as is" without warranties. We are not liable for:
- Data loss caused by failures beyond our control.
- Any losses resulting from service interruption or technical errors.
- Third-party content transmitted through the service.
9. Service Suspension
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access for any user found to be misusing the service or violating these terms, without prior notice in serious cases.
10. Changes to the Terms
We may amend these terms from time to time. You will be notified of any material changes through the bot. Continuing to use the service after an update constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
11. Governing Law
These terms are governed by applicable law. Any dispute related to the service will first be attempted to be resolved amicably.
